To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Antiquities and Monuments Office of the Development Bureau is delighted to present ‘National Day X Heritage Fun Day 2026’ on 1 October 2026 at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre (HDC). Let happiness echoes through the ambience of historic monuments! The Fun Day offers a lineup of interesting activities, performances and games, including a public talk on the Comparative Study on the Owners’ Identity and the Spatial Culture of Four ‘Tai Fu Tai’ Buildings by Professor Paul Chu, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Associate Professor Edwin Wu and Assistant Professor Maverick Hu of Department of Architecture of Hong Kong Chu Hai College, Lo Pan Temple Model Building Workshops, Star Guided Tours, Parent-child Concerts by the Greater Bay Area Philharmonic, Rammed Earth Workshops, Aim the Tiles, Monument Badge Workshop, Monument Snapshot Station, Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, Creative Cookie Workshops, Magic Shows and more. Complete the designated activities to collect stamps for limited-edition souvenirs!
